A few months back, some of our activists at Black Hills State had an activism event they were conducting shut down by a campus police officer who threatened to have them arrested by the Spearfish, SD police for trespassing if they didn't comply.
Within hours of the confrontation, the officer who confronted our activists called the Black Hills State YAL chapter president to apologize and admit he was incorrect and that our activists were allowed to do their event regardless of if they had filled out any paperwork in advance.
